Welcome to Sapa Bac Ha Market and Homestay tour. You will have chane to experience colourful culture from local house to the Market. The local people is so kind and hospitaly to show you their normal life by let you join their works, sharetheir house in Ta Van village, the Tay village. The market of Bac Ha is amazing place. It has multiple parts, sale of animals, blacksmiths, meat, fruits and vegetables as well as prepared foods, and finally, crafts, what the tourists like the most.

Detail Itinerary:

Night 1: Hanoi - Night train to Lao Cai
Our guide will meet you at 8.30 pm at Hanoi Railway Station. You will enjoy your night train journey from the capital of Vietnam to Lao Cai Province. 

Ta Van village
Day 1: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L, D)
Arriving in Lao Cai Station in the early morning, we will transfer to Sapa via minibus. After breakfast, we will start trekking uphill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa through rice paddies and small hamlets to study life of hill tribes here. Y Linh Ho is a small commune composed by a dozen of small hamlets scattering on the very tough mountain terrain with high and steep mountains. There are some hundred inhabitants from the Black H’mong only living in this commune. Then we will visit Lao Chai Village and have cultural exchange activities with the locals there.
We will have picnic lunch carried by the tour guide, then continue trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van Village settled by Dzay ethnic minorities. Ta Van is a small village set within a picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. Ta Van village is set within a picturesque valley with amazing natural landscape and friendly local people. The area is well-known for its colorful ethnic minorities. Visiting Ta Van Village will be an unforgettable experience, since you will have a chance to witness the special cultural characteristics of local people.We have dinner cooked on a wood fire enjoying the company and hospitality of our Zay family and homestay overnight.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan (B, L, D)

Enjoy mountainous landscape with your sunrise coffee, then enjoy a delicious breakfast ready to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities.
Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit Supan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus back to Sapa.
Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Sapa (B, L, D)
After have breakfast, you are picked up by local guide and driver at Lao Cai station then brought to a local restaurant for breakfast (upon your request), before we start our journey to Bac Ha town. The market is located in the heart of Bac ha small town, considered one of the most uproarious and colorful markets in the North of Vietnam but only organized on Sunday. You will meet people from difference race here, and have lunch with local specialties also.

After lunch, we say goodbye to Bac Ha Market and go downhill towards Lao Cai by car and cease at a spot near Trung Do village of Tay people to take a walk to this place and have sometime learning their tradition. A visit ends is also the time when boat trip on Chay River starts. The sceneries on two sides of the river is wonderful, so the boat trip is guaranteed to be great time to you. When you sail to Bao Nhai Bridge, our vehicle is already there to bring you back to Lao Cai

Day 4: Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Lao Cai – Hanoi ( B, L, D )
Bac Ha market

After have breakfast, a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a Car to return to Sapa.
Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.

Day 5: Hanoi Departure
05:00 am – Arrive at Tran Quy Cap station (Ha noi). End of tour
